Heartsaver CPR with AED Course

This 3-hour course focuses on the one-rescuer adult or adult, child, and infant CPR. This course includes general knowledge on CPR, heart disease and choking emergencies. This course is recommended for all individuals interested in developing basic CPR skills. Upon completion of this program, the student will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver card. No previous experience is required.

The AHA Heartsaver manual is required and is included in the price of the class.

Heartsaver with First Aid and AED Course

This 3-4 hour course teaches one and two adult CPR, foreign body airway obstruction and AED operation. This course also teaches basic first aid fundamentals. This course was developed by the AHA and the National Safety Council. The first aid fundamentals include medical and trauma related injuries. Students will learn what to do in the event someone experiences seizures, head and neck injuries, fractures, burns, wounds, bites/stings and many other injuries and illnesses. Upon completion of the program, the student will receive a Heartsaver FACTS course completion card. No previous experience is required.

The AHA Heartsaver manual is required and is included in the price of the class.

Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider

This 4-hour course covers adult, infant, child, and both one-rescuer and two-rescuer CPR with AED. Treatment for choking patients and heart disease is also included. This course is required for healthcare providers and childcare workers and is recommended for all individuals interested in learning how to provide basic cardiac life support.

Successful course completion earns the student an AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support for the Healthcare Provider course completion card that is valid for two years.

The AHA BLS manual is required and can be purchased from Buffalo CPR or another AHA vendor on or before the day of the class.
